The highly anticipated Emirates Airline T20 Cricket Tournament (#EmiratesT20) is returning on the 23rd and 24th March 2017 with a brand-new format and new host venue.
Tournament organisers, Sporta Group, have announced the 2017 Emirates Airline T20 will feature six international teams playing across two days; 23rd and 24th March. For the first year ever, the tournament will be hosted at the impressive, world-class Dubai Sports City Cricket Stadium.
Some of the biggest stars in cricket are expected to play including Andre Russell, Darren Sammy, Jonathon Trott, Shahid Afridi, Jimmy Anderson, Brendon McCullum and Ian Bell to name a few.
Confirmed teams include the hugely popular Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars from the Pakistan Super League, Lancashire Lightning (2015 T20 Blast winners), the Jamaica Tallawahas (2016 CPL Winners) and Birmingham Bears (2016 RL Cup Winners). The full team line-up will be announced in early January 2017.
Presenting Partner, Emirates Airline, has supported the tournament since its inception in 2010.
